Day to day
Understand your metrics
Metrics tells you how your property is doing in the period you choose: how much you sold, how full it was and where your bookings come from.
Choose the period
In Metrics, choose a quick period (7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 12 months) or your own dates in From and To. With By day, By week or By month you change how the charts are grouped.
What each metric means
- Confirmed bookings: how many confirmed bookings you had in the period.
- Booked revenue: the total value of those bookings.
- Occupancy: what percentage of your available nights you sold. "45 of 90 nights" is 50%. Blocked units don't count as available.
- Average rate: how much you earned on average per night sold.
- RevPAR: how much you earned on average per available night, sold or not. It combines price and occupancy in a single number: if it goes up, you're doing better.
- Average stay: how many nights each booking stays on average.
- Lead time: how many days in advance your guests book.
- Cancellations: what percentage of bookings were cancelled.
The charts
- Bookings and revenue: by the date the booking was made (not the check-in date).
- Occupancy by night: nights sold out of nights available for each night in the period.
- By room: which room type brings you the most revenue.
- Source: how many bookings came through your Website and how many you created by hand.
- Payment method: bank transfer, cash or others.
How to use them to make decisions
- Low midweek occupancy: try a promotion for Sunday to Thursday only.
- Very high occupancy and long lead time: you can raise prices on those dates in Rates.
- Few bookings through your website: share your link more on Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Maps.
Frequently asked questions
It says "No bookings in this period yet"
Choose a longer period, or check that your bookings are confirmed: those still pending payment or that expired don't count.
My receptionist can't see Metrics
That's normal: only the owner can see metrics and revenue.
